I had a red 2001 Corrola "S" model for 2 1/2 years and loved it! Had to trade it in for a bigger car, though. The first day we brought my son home from the hospital after he was born a little over a year ago I was like, uh this isn't gonna work. Unfortunately, I had to trade it for a 2001 Ford Taurus because it's all we could afford. I've been raised on Ford's my whole life with the exception of owning a Corvette for a year about 10 years ago and then the Corolla. About one week after I bought the Corolla, I was convinced that Japanese engineering is far superior to American. I don't have the faith that my Taurus will go for 180,000 miles + with no problems. It only has 35K on it now and it already drips tranny fluid!

Only problem with Japanes cars is that they are a little thin skinned so watch where you park it cause they get dings really easy and, uh, don't lean up against it too hard.

I want my 35+MPG back!!!!!! Gas prices are outta control!!!
