Hi, I am a huge u2 fan but have never gone to a concert. I just got GA tickets for 5/22 Philadelphia and am wondering how early I should show up to get a GOOD spot? Saturday?? Friday?? Do they allow lines at all?? Any additional advice to camping out good GA spots is welcomed!

My friend said they dont let you line up for GA tickets until a certain time... is this true? What time would this be for a 7:30 show at wachovia center, philly? Also, what is the deal with the GA lottery??
thanks-
danny
There is a fence that encloses the arena. You can line up before they open those gates by doing what Chizip said, look for the group of people lined up against the fence. Eventually the gates will open and you will transfer the line on to the property. The arena told me on the phone today they will open the gates at 9am but last week they told me 10am. There is no need to camp out along broad st. I am planning on getting down there at 7am.
Keep in mind admission to the elipse area is determined by random selection so technically you could show up at 700pm and be in there. Lining up early basically allows you to have a decent spot outside the elipse should you not be randomly selected.
Chip its up to the General Manager of Wachovia Center. I was the first one on the Rising Tour with Bruce and the GM honored the line and escorted the line to the GA entrance in the morning. I was at the Elevation show November 2 and thats where you line up on Broad Street. They will honor the line. Calling up the venue or speaking to anyone at the receiption desk will tell you they have no idea about where to line up.
