i think bono was reflecting on the early 90s, all the coolness of rock back then, all the great bands that have since gone away. when you are no longer in the company of men or bands like that nowadays, you gotta wonder....is it all worth it? where has it all gone wrong?

it's very much the 50s right now. albums don't matter, fame and singles do. but the 60s are upon us folks, 2010 will be the new 60s.

I think COL may emerge as my favorite song on the album. Shame they don't play it over the PA when they bring up the house lights (at the end of the show) the way they did with Grace on the Elevation shows I saw in NY and LA.
