Ok, someone posted this on WIRE. I think she wanted to post it here, but she just registered or something. So I took the liberty:

Hi all,

I was reading the Bon Jovi backstage site and it was going on about how U2
fans had created a program to vote for U2 loads of times without being
noticed, but they had contacted the official Bon Jovi website (bon jovi.com)
and brought it to their attention. There was then a post on Bon Jovi.com
from the Bon Jovi HQ to say that VH1 were aware of this and that "they
hadn't covered their tracks as well as they had thought"!!!!!!!!!!!!
Checked out Interference and read the posts that had alerted the backstage
bon jovi people in the first place, tried to post this reply there but
joining is taking forever, and I know it's probably a bit late now, but just
letting you know.

I just think it's lame how they're supposedly throwing this huge hissy fit over it. I mean, like Schabow mentioned, didn't they, or at least the DMB fans do the exact same thing? Whatever. VH1-awards = crap.

They should look in the mirror. They cheated too. I think what's really bugging them is that they weren't as smart as we were. I still do think cheating is wrong no matter what. That why I don't give a shit about these lame awards.

Yet, it would still piss me off if Bon Jovi won best band or best live act. Give me a break! They're not even close!
