What's the worst review rolling stone has given to U2? 4 stars?

I believe TUF had 3 stars, it was a review by Kurt Loder, if I’m not wrong.

I seriously couldn’t tell you what this person is trying to say. Sounds like someone that just likes to hear themselves talk. Really randomly all over the place.

Bang average isn't it? Shame. You'd expect better from a site like the atlantic.

There has been some really poorly written reviews both positive and negative for this album, most of them from online publications. Then again, it's easy to have a career online despite having no worthy credentials at all as proven by a lot of these 'music' writers. A lot of them just posers crapping out sub undergraduate, pseudo intellectual nonsense.

This. This is the music I wanted from U2 since Pop. Not experimental like the 90s but it sounds like they actually give a crap about making good music instead of the mediocre output of the last four albums.

Solid. Good stuff boys. Ive regained my faith in U2.

The Blackout

The Blackout feels like the first true U2 song since Pop.

And I actually like the album mix over the initial live mix. I didn't think so at first, but damnnnn I want Adam's bass all up in my bidness.

Glad to finally see the good reviews far out away the bad. Let's hope Metacritic starts to update & get the score up. Anything lower than 70 is a travesty for such a good album.

Bono and Edge played an acoustic set at the Museum of Natural History Benefit yesterday.

Love it!! I am seeing so many fans of POP, that didn’t love most 200O’s stuff (like me, though I love SOI) that are really loving SOE!

“American Soul begins with Kendrick sarcastically rapping a reverse Sermon on the Mount, it's so potent and so immediate and Bono’s feeble lyricism following such a current talent is all the more painful."

Thought the above was an odd statement. Kendrick only speaks 2 lines in AS and I personally find nothing "potent" or "immediate" about them. I get the reviewer didn't like Bono's lyrics and that's fair, especially in this song, but to say Kendricks were some amazing lyrics and then Bono ruined it sounds just very weird to me.

An average 65 out 100 feels so unfair for such good effort as SOE is and some reviews are simply disgusting and vacuous.

I have to admit, though, that I have a morbid curiosity about "Bitchfork" rate. How much you bet they'll give to SOE?

Again the crazy thing is bono probably wrote what Kendrick said, this is where it gets tiresome with some reviews they go in to it with a dislike of bono then they will never like t will they?

We’ll see. If Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly gets on there it will be a good boost. Who knows about Spin. But probably decent.

Here the brazillian press has been harsh to the band. One review ends with: "U2 is getting tiresome".

But i don't give them too much credit, they supported a coup just last year.
