Rock n' Roll Doggie Band-aid
he produced some of Brothers too
YouTube - The Black Keys - So He Won't Break
I'll agree that he hasn't produced much traditional "rock", though. This is going to be an interesting album...
Yeah, he did the first single, "Tighten Up".he produced some of Brothers too
No, but the Black Keys sure do, and guess who produced their last album?
Edit: shit, nirniva beat me to it. Missed that in my hurry to come back with my brilliant observation.
Well, if that's his idea of rock, I'll keep U2's.
I like that Broken Bells record. I like Gnarls Barkley. I think the Black Keys are effing great.
I also think that none of those three artists mean diddly-squat in regards to what this U2 album is going to sound like. He's not going to turn them into anything they're not.
I'm excited that DM is involved and am really looking to see/hear what he brings to the table. I'm excited because he's new and different in relation to U2, and it's just icing on the cake that I've liked DM's other recent projects.
Even if I didn't, I'd still be very interested to see what he's doing with U2. I'm happy they're trying something/someone new.
EBow + Danger Mouse synths would sound awesome.edge on ebow......look for it
No, that's the Black Keys style of rock.
...we're all hailing this as Achtung Baby II coming to your record store...
edge on ebow......look for it
We are? Maybe I'm reading different posts than you are (I do tend to skim), but I don't get that impression at all. I feel like the general sense is optimism and curiosity. Not premature overreaction.

I dig this tune. Me like a lot!

They buried it in a time capsule in front of the elementary school and give u2girl the key
sounds to me like they are doing a 180 instead
Seriously, however, I'd guess that 360 in 2011 will basically be a "new tour" in terms of setlists. Some sections might stay around (COBL > Vertigo > CT Remix > SBS, for example), but it seems like they'd want to change things up a lot if they're promoting a new album.
so what happened to SOA?
