What about the rumoured Prague date? I'm planning on going to that one, even though I still don't know where to order tickets for that show.

No Vienna this year, Milan is two days after the Springsteen show, I'll try for the German dates.

They most likely haven't found suitable stadium.
It's quite possible that tickets for shows in neigbouring countries would be sold in my country, they did that with Vienna and Poland during Vertigo tour, so maybe then I could buy two ticks, if you'd like to go to Budapest or Polish gig, or we could do the exchange, if you'd buy for example ticket to some German show.

^Yep, Budapest would also be a good option, if there won't be a concert in Prague. I know how to buy tickets for shows in Germany and other European country, but sadly not in Hungary or in the Czech Republic. What other concerts are you planning to see?

I'm planing to see 3 concerts, one is Dublin, then Chorzow and the last one any German city or the mentioned Budapest. I need to see exact dates of gigs, when there are two accesible concerts in two days it would be maybe difficult to get to the second city, so, I'll see.

I imagine there will be another stadium run in both US/Europe sometime in mid 2010 in Stadiums that did fit the criteria in 2009.

Haha no, I wouldn't want a house of those colours!

Wait, you don't live there eh? :uhoh:

Yea I an going to try online, and I've no clue how I'll do it. I'm shit scared about the whole thing and afraid that the servers will be down and I'd be fucked aswell. How long are they usually on sale? I heard that the vertigo ones were sold out within the hour.
I think I'm going to find a replacement for work anyway. crack:

Hey! No i am not living there. I live in the south (roermond).

Indeed, Vertigo Tour was sold out within an hour (3x 50,000!). But that was the time of waiting ina row in front of the post office. this is probably not possible next saturday. For AC/DC it wa sonly online selling. So expect everybody to go online at the same time!! for AC/DC it meant that it took hours to sell out and the only reason was collapsing websites. If it was done in the old fashioned way they would have sold out within minutes...

how about europe first, nothing but stadiums... aaaaaand let's go with soldier field in chicago in the fall, say, oh i dunno... september.. to kick off the US tour.

i'm invisioning a large circular stage set somewhat in the middle of the football field, in the round with giant ramps for boner to walk around, and 2 giant intersecting arch like things holding up the speakers/video stuff above the stage.

let it be so.

wink wink nudge nudge

who did you have to blow to get that information?

Those venues are too big. Their capacities are in the 70-75,000 range. These above markets won't gross more than $4-$4.5 million each. If you do the math, U2's average prices would have to be between $50-$60 in order for these particular venues to sell out, considering what they'd gross there. And their ticket prices won't be that low.

Well, their playing FedEx Field on September 29 and the Georgia Dome on October 6. It does not appear at all that those venues were too big for U2. Fedex Field actually seats 92,000 people, significantly more than 70,000, and after only a couple of days, they are nearing a sell out there. Sales are also strong in the big Georgia Dome, and that should be soldout as well by show time in October. Both markets should be above $7 million each, especially DC. Thats a lot more than $4 million.

Yes, let's resurrect old threads for petty online points-scoring. :|

Maoilbheannacht loves to take things out of context.

Part of my original prediction was based on the assumption that Philly and Washington, DC would be included on the first North American leg. And he damn well knows that. But now that the actual dates are out, he also knows that if Philly wasn't skipped on this first North American leg, the Washington, DC show wouldn't have a hope in hell in selling out. And that scenario can be utilized for many different markets on this tour...

I think he has some type of mental issue?

What I want to know is how come STING2/Strongbow/Maoilbheannacht keeps taking on new identities.
