I'm definitely shyer in person at first. I find social situations very awkward and difficult at times, so it takes me a little bit to warm up to people and feel comfortable. But once I'm comfortable, watch out!

A bunch of police cars just zoomed past my office, and now there's a police helicopter circling above us. I really hope there hasn't been another shooting - there has been a TON of gang-related violence around here lately. Not cool at all.

There have been a lot of shootings in the last few months, most of them are gang-related. A few of them are random, but most are to do with gangs. I'm listening to the radio right now, but haven't heard anything about anything happening in my area right now.

Yeah, it's pretty freaky. Most of the shootings haven't happened too near where I live and work, so if all this is to do with a shooting, I'm officially frightened.

The helicopter is still circling. News is saying that there was a 911 call from the Wal-Mart a block away from my office saying there was gunfire. That's all I know right now.

ETA - no, they've said nothing. But I'm sure as hell not leaving the office. I was planning on going to a restaurant right near there for lunch, but will just be ordering in today.
