Just got this from Dave Fanning!

Hi Fredrik,

The U2 single goes to radio next Monday. I'll do the worldwide exclusive first play just after the news at 8AM (Irish Time) on Monday morning. That's RTE 2FM. Check RT 2FM. The programme is called The Colm and Jim Jim Breakfast Show. Thanks Fredrik. Dave.

Let's tune in by then!:drool::hyper::hyper:

Should I create a new thread about this?

Just this very moment our biggest radio station has confirmed that the single will officially be premiered next monday, on Jan 19, in the morning. :hyper:

Ugh, we'll have to sit through listening to "Colm & Jim" while we wait for Dave to arrive with the single... They are the most inane, idiotic, drivel spouting "dj's" in Ireland by some distance...

Spanish newspapers... Universal Spain confirm the new single on radios 19 :D

'No line on the horizon', el nuevo trabajo de U2, saldrá a la venta el próximo 2 de marzo

MADRID, 12 (EUROPA PRESS)

Count me in as one of those who think that we'll hear it before next Monday... with all those copies lying around now? But you never know I guess, security might indeed be tight. I can wait one more week or course, but I just think it's more exciting if it leaks a bit early and we'll all go crazy over here

I'm off flying back to London from Montreal in a few hours, which means I'll be away from the computer all night! I don't want to miss all the fun if it leaks in the meantime ;)

News from Spain: the boss of the u2eastlink user says to him "don't worry, this weekend you will listen it".

Not before.

I'm not going to start paying close attention until Thursday or Friday. There's almost zero chance we'll hear anything before that.

In a manner of speaking, yes.

Wow, really? Please tell me you are not pulling our legs...I don't think I can take it.

Get down on one knee and promise me I'll be listening to the single tomorrow evening. Jk. But seriously.

Don't listen to me bro; I tried giving some news last night but was accused of being a liar.
I know what I know.

I never called you a liar. I called you a pessimist who used an insignificant observation to wind up the forum. Huge difference.

If I'm not listening to the single by January 13 at 11:59 PM, then you're a liar.

I bet Chris Moyles will do the same on BBC R1.. so we too, will have to sit though the same level of drivel !

I am more than willing to listen to you...but I just wanted to rule out practical joking. With all the half-baked rumors flying around, and with all the excitement and expectations, the potential to be taken advantage of is rather high (as I'm sure you'd agree).

I will be keeping my eyes peeled. Thanks
