Q magazine

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Bono looks evil

Evil is

It's the Feb 2009 edition but the issue isn't available yet, Q still has the Kings of Leon cover on its website. I guess it will come out on Dec 31 in the UK. I live in central Europe and we usually get the magazine a couple of days later.

Helen - or anyone - should I try and get one for you, too?

:hmm: Do you have a specific day in your mind when you'll try get it?
I think the small town where I live does not have those magazines. So I have to go somewhere else...

The Barnes and Noble where I live has it sometimes when I go there. Hopefully they'll have it this issue.

:hyper: Got mine today

If anyone wants any shipped I can help Wayne out and get some too  Magazine is £3.90, not sure what the shipping will be? :hmm: But it does say it is February's Edition on it, so you may get it early too?

Earliest I can ship will be Saturday, Let me know

I think I'll try my luck on friday. It should be out in the UK tomorrow and we are usually not that far behind, but it's possible that it will be out by next week here. I'll let you know. They usually have enough copies to go back and get some more.

Not Crispin Glover, not Heath Ledger as the Joker. I was thinking maybe Michael Wincott in "Alien Resurrection"

But I don't think that's who it is, either. The quest shall continue!

Anyone who can get me a copy will be great. I live in New Jersey, so it won't be a big deal to ship.

lol. I asked a girl at B&N "Do you know when the Feb issue of Q Magazine comes out?" and she goes, "In February?" Dumb asses.

B&N here doesn't sell Q. But the guy at Borders this morning told me he'd have it "soonish". :hmm: lol

That's the problem that I have. They have it sometimes. The closest Borders is a half hour away. For U2 the drive is worth it, but I have to find the time. I'm getting a copy from Anji.

Well I know I'll be able to get it at Borders eventually (and I'll get extras if I can), just hopefully sooner rather than later. And at the big newstand downtown here the guy told me he's having trouble with his UK distributor, so it may be late

I don't think there's any concern for anyone living in the US to get their hands on this magazine at some point within the next month. I just moved to another state this year and I've found this magazine, and other UK mags, at both B&N and Borders in Arizona just like I would have in Minnesota. So I'd suggest to anyone that's going to have it shipped from England to just be patient and wait it out a bit. I have a feeling your copy from England is going to arrive right around the time this is going to hit US newstand and you'll have paid more in the long run for shipping costs. Just my two cents. It's obviously your time and money so do what you like. But I think you'll find this at a bookstore in your town at some point soon.

I recommend NEWS STANDS over BOOK STORES, as the NEWS STANDS seem to get the magazines sooner than the book stores do.

And for us in the U.S., even the News Stands get them a bit later than the UK. (Which most probably already know)
