If they do America again, they are going to be doing the south...my guess though is that the next leg is going to be south america and mexico..personally..I wish they'd take a break...record more tunes...and do arenas forever.

I predict maybe 10-15 more shows at most in North America, and they will go to area's based on two factors, effect on albums sales playing that market would have, and demand to see U2 live in that market. Some southern shows may be added, but I predict they will finish out somewhere in the North East on their way back to Ireland.
The rest of the world will have to wait until 2003 when the next album is released.

They should end the tour in Miami where it started!I been to six shows wouldnt mind a final in Miami! Charlotte,NJ1,NJ2,Baltimore,NY-10/24,NY-10/25.

I'd rather see them break-up than have them go to Iowa City or Ames!

I agree! Don't suppose it has anything to do with the fact that I'm leaving on Saturday for Florida (for the next 6 months).

Well, I guess the people who felt they got hosed with the Vegas show (thinking it was the "last" show) don't have to feel so bad now. I'm sure there are a lot of LA #3 people finding themselves in the same boat. Just how many "last" shows are there going to be for this 3rd leg anyway (assuming that they're adding more US dates)?

The thing that pisses me off the most is the way U2 are going about this.
I actually am starting to think they dont give a shit about us.
Thanks for the sensitivity Larry, 'not a chance' your millions of fans here will be so happy when U2 comes on the radio perhaps anymore.
The very least they could do is send out a press release with a reason why we are being TOTALLY IGNORED.
Funny how Bono himself has said they were sick of the same faces at every show. I wonder why this keeps happening....

This is too much. Boston had a gajillion shows already. What I don't get is why they managed to take the colossally expensive Popmart tour to every corner of the known world, but with this cheaper (and in my opinion, better) setup they've only done a standard Europe tour and played North America to death. I know the dollar is weak in Australia, for instance, but you'd think that the cheaper tour setup would maybe cancel that out or something. Play 6 shows in Sydney--they'd all sell out.

Then again, I'm a hypocrite, because I would be overjoyed if they came back to Vancouver, or somewhere else close enough for me to go like Seattle/Tacoma.

and i was a cynic for saying this album/tour was all about profit.

i hope, for the greater good, u2 goes to places they haven't been to on the tour yet, whether that be australia and south america, or midwest/southern cities in america they bothered to skip. but that would be too nice, considering the nature of this tour. it was fun and enjoyable, but really makes them look like "rock stars." and we all know that mentality.

Those of you in the States who are getting pissed off about the greed of this: remember not to buy tickets for the shows. This will make it easier for me to get good seats.

WOW, I was hoping they'd keep it up until Christmas! My b-day is Dec. 5, PLEASE GUYS!

The GA line in Providence was somewhat frosty on 10/30...I shudder to think what it might be like in Boston in December...time to buy a pair of those battery operated socks!

They are coming back here to play St Helens. Me and Johnny Vegas are together on this one.

Looking for explanations? Well I don't even understand

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'd rather them go home and spend a lovely Christmas with their families. Not to mention, this is just adding insult to injury to everybody in Australia and the rest of the world.

I also believe there were some Montreal dates rumored before, for March of 2002. Who knows, this may possibly be related.

Thats great news for US fans!!!

I sure hope U2 will take an extra opportunity to come to UK again cos if USA has a 3rd leg then I dont see why U2 shouldnt come to do UK for the second time.....but then they might be exhausted by the time they do....
