I'll add a light hearted Cubs vs White Sox trash talk.

I really hope the Cubs play the Sox in the World Series if the results end up like the last 2 days.

HA!

p.s. Do I have to like Jim Edmonds now? I know it's been a while now, but he still was a Cardinal...and a jerk.

I'll say this: I was pretty discouraged by last nights game and I hope it is not a sign of things to come. The Tigers have been playing well the last few weeks and I was banking on them being really good once Rodney and Zumaya came back, but both of them looked awful last night.

Rodney (in his second appearance) threw 8 pitches and walked 2. Zoom had good stuff, but simply couldn't control it.

I'll put my money on this guy. :D

Seriously, I woke my daughter up I laughed so loud. And yes, I'm sure that guy is a White Sux fan.

Isn't that Bas Rutten video hilarious?

I'm considering just making a whole thread about it in Lemonade Stand so more people will be able to see it.

One of the fucking funniest videos I've ever seen. My buddies and I quote it all the time. Great stuff.

He was the UFC heavyweight champion for a while and now I think he does commentary for them.

Either way, he's awesome and he will kick anyone's ass.

"I'm sorry sir but I'm gonna have to break...your leg"

"Create distance and grab a chair"

"Smack his face...maybe hit him 10 times...stab in the liver"

"I'm sorry sir...dang dang bang...no I am not"

He actually is no longer affiliate with the UFC, at all. He is the trainer for Kimbo Slice, and, he is involved with the IFL, a "competitor" of the UFC's.

I actually spent some time with Bas in Japan, and again in LA, and he's a fucking riot. He can also kill you in 1,432 different ways. Well, that's at sea level, anything 1,000 feet above sea level renders some of his moves useless and the # shrinks to about 842.

When he fought competitively, he was incredible.

He was kicking the hell out of that guy in that video. It was almost like the other guy wasn't trying.

Pettitte threw a pretty good game today, doing what he's done so well in Pinstripes (not as much this year, though, admittedly), which is halting a Yankee losing streak.
