Oops, I overlooked your signature (sorry). Well, my opinion is that they don't eat prior to a show, or at least right before a show. While they drink (water, presumably)during the show, they don't have to pee because they are absorbing all the fluids because of the energy it takes to perform a show.

However, I heard a rumor a while back that Bono farted all over one of the girls he brought up onstage with him...

well adam left the stage for a bit during the 4th boston show right before they played party girl and bono commented during the song that it was written for a bass player. He said right before the song "the bass player left, he just walked off". I guess adam had to go!
