U2 to perform on MTV's European Music Awards in Rome tonight?
It's a rumour heard on Dutch radio this morning....

No clue... I'm not sure it's going to be televised. I would guess sometime around 7PM through, which is 13 hours away. I'll look into it a bit more and see if it is going to be televised.

The Clinton thing starts at 12PM Eastern Time.

It will probably be covered in a lot of news channels but for recording the best will be CSPAN3 since they usually cover events without any broadcaster talking over and without commercial interruption.

Looks like they'll be on right after President Bush's speech. I wonder if Bush will introduce them, wouldn't that be ironic, I'm sure Edge would be thrilled.

They've been showing performances of previous years on EMAs, best moments etc..., they also showed names of presenters and performers on MTV and U2 was not mentioned.

Unless it's a HUGE surprise and a satellite transmission like the Even better than the real thing they did with US MTV awards years ago.

U2 was mentioned, they were the top 20, and U2 was I think 17th.
