Roethlisberger has to stop letting the play clock bleed. It lets the Ravens time their blitzes perfectly.

So, you guys know why they call it the "prevent" defense?

Way to go with the spike Ben. It's not like downs are valuable or anything.

I normally hate these Coors Light commercials with the pressers from the coaches, etc.....but the Billick ones have made me laugh, and the new one with him screaming "MIKE! MIKE! MIKE!" cracks me up, mostly because you hear the 3rd "Mike!" when they are no longer showing the Billick footage.

Yes! Great game and the Cowboy D has really stepped it up the last 3 or 4 games (with the exception of the last couple minutes in Pittsburg). Tashard Choice is looking like a fine 3rd back, hope they can keep him around next year because he could probably start for a lot of teams.

I heard T.O.s comments but what is it Ed Werder said again?

Please smack the Ravens around next week.

Sincerely, New England.

jacobs needs to get the sand out of his vagina and play.

losing burress is one thing... losing burress and jacobs is another. jacobs needs to step up. i know they're being cautious because in the grand scheme of things the dallas game meant nothing and the only one that really matters is this week against carolina and then the playoffs... but that said, let's go. get jacobs back out there.

earth wind and fire don't work without the earth.

How's this for a dilemma: I'm in a suicide pool (for the uninitiated, you pick one team to win each week, not able to use a team more than once, and if you win you move on, lose you're out), one of 6 remaining players out of 40. (I find it amazing that 6 have lasted this long)
This week I selected Denver, so I need them to beat Buffalo to survive.
The dilemma is that all 5 of my worthy opponents have selected New England (I had already used them).
So should the Pats lose to AZ and end up missing the playoffs and the Broncos win, I stand to cash for about $1,800.00...

I plunked some money on Miami to win the AFC East back around week 7 or 8 at 18:1 odds.

Now I think the Jets are favorites to win because they get Miami at home next week; I plugged in some rough figures and estimate the Jets at 50%, Miami 35%, New England 15%. I found a place that offered the Jets at 3:2, so I placed a hedge bet there. Would have done the same for New England, but the odds (5:2 or so) are not favorable (none of these major sports books seem to be able to figure out tiebreakers correctly).

So basically, if the Jets or Miami win the division, I win $900. If New England wins the division, I'm out $600. But hey, $600 is a small price to pay for a division title, right? Right.

I always thoroughly enjoy your mathematical analysis of these things.

You should blow off DC next year and go to work at a Vegas sportsbook like DeNiro in "Casino".

That's not a dilemma. At least not to me. You root for your Pats, and if they happen to lose, you have a nice silver lining.

Dallas doesn't deserve to make the playoffs. And if they do somehow manage to get in, they'll just blow the first game, like always. Romo is anything but clutch, and that defense managed to fail at the most inopportune time, just like in the Steeler game.
