Question for Adam lovers.....

Okay, please don't shoot me. I can't believe I'm going to ask this. I've been a fan for 19 years. I've been lurking on PLEBA since August of 2001, finally started posting in November.

And I still do not know what the meaning behind Adam and his spoons are!!!!! What's the connection?????

i don't know for sure, but i don't think he really collects them. I think it was a joke the writers of the simpsons started, and now everyone believes it.

i remember reading an interview of him, and the journalist brought a spoon as a gift, and adam was polite but not reacting like a real collector. if i remember correctly, adam actually left the interview, forgetting his spoon, and then returned to apologize and take the forgotten gift.


but i am the first to admit that i am always the last to know things. so he may very well collect them for real.

i also just learned that he arranges flowers. how funny is that?

My parents collect spoons. In my old house, we had them on display. It was em, odd. Speaking of spoons, I got my own collection now...a spongebob spoon and a star wars spoon. I guess you inherit spoon collecting, but I SWEAR the spongebob and star wars spoons is as far as I'm going.
