Thought this was pretty cool

U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Eagle Cam - MyOutdoorTV.com

Its a webcam of a Bald Eagle's nest in West Virginia....theres currently one chick in there and the mother comes and goes, but its on 24/7 and switches to night vision mode in the dark. You should see how the mother sleeps on top of the chick at night.

Its on night vision now...the baby is in the upper right corner, don't see mommy though, prolly out with the girls

There had been an eagle cam up for a bunch of years at Inwood Park ( a very "unexpected" place because of how The Island of Mahattan is generally perceived to look ) ... for the 5 years eaglets were being re-introduced into the area. It was pretty sucessful, i think.

sometimes you can catch the mother AND father together...i saw it a couple days ago...the father is HUGE

eglet is by itself........
imagine going (growing) from cute to AWESOME......

(VS going from cute to incredibly Annoyingly destructive like "gremlins" )

I think when the eaglet gets closer to the ?back (where the cam is) part of the nest he looks ? 50% bigger than when he's farther away from that spot ...to the ( ?front) right side from our POV .

iany way he got to close to the edge of the nest for my comfort ( get back...!!)
and was flapping out his wings a lot this afternoon.
Mom nor dad haven't retuned yet.
