If you need tickets you should be able to organise something here. Its an Irish message board where people sell / swap tickets at face value. There are plenty available and the majority of the posters are from Dublin.

Link to sat night...
There are plenty of shops you can get a salad roll / sandwiches and drinks within 5 - 10 mins walk from Croker. Theres a Spar or a Centra couple of doors down from Quinns pub.
We didn't go down until an hour before U2 came on stage in 05 and got v close to the stage. Heres a couple pics so you can judge for yourself

Should say that was the Mon night, Sat night I would be inclined to go a bit...
It's not quite that bad. a pint will be €6. That seems to be standard at all Irish gigs this year.
Allow about a tenner for a burger, chips (fries??) and a soft drink.
Chocolate bars / crisps (chips???) about €1 - €2
Bars around Croke park (Big Tree, Quinns, McGraths etc) charge between €4...
You can't really predict Irish weather any more than a couple of days in advance, not with any accuracy anyway. It's fairly unlikely to be cold at the end of july but it can rain at absolutely any time

Would anybody be so kind as to upload this pic to Tinypic? Its the only photo site which isn't blocked at work and I would like to show some people who are going to the shows. Thanks.
I was in the lower tier of the Canal End (sec 319) for Dublin 1 in 2005. It was pretty shit tbh, a bit like looking at a concert that was happening somewhere else. Me and my mate walked round to sec 333 after about two songs and just stood up the back no hassle at all.
Just had a thought. If the T-shirts don't get made why don't we all just attach big inflatable penises to our heads? That would have pretty much the same effect.
In Ireland it can take weeks and sometimes months to get tickets from Ticketmaster. I ordered tickets on 30th Jan for Springsteen in Dublin on 12th July and they arrived yesterday.
