i'll add that LasVegasLocally, much like VitalVegas, is sometimes full of shit.
Once they saw the tickets fly for the 2024 dates, it was going to end at 40 shows because Bono is gonna Bono. It also leaves the public wanting more, keeps up demand for the next full tour and avoids any comparisons with what the other band(s) playing the venue this year do.

They need to make a record this year so they can tour next year. I can't see how they have time for another 8 weeks in the Sphere, sad though that must be for people who haven't had a chance to see it yet.
Nothing stopping them doing another run in '27 though. Hell, maybe with another album/set of songs as the focus.

well, sure - but a lot of this is dependent upon Larry. if Larry still isn't good to go - then they won't be recording this year, and certainly won't be going on a world tour anytime soon.

Is it just me who thinks the U2.com clips so far are a bit too drone heavy? It's a really cool effect, but (a) the cuts back to static cameras are pretty jarring, and (b) it sort of feels more like a tour of the venue than a concert video.

Found out some friends were going tonight and the post-concert blues started creeping up again.

Would appear the Grammy’s thingy is going to be pre-recorded as Postcards from Earth is playing on 2/4. Wonder if they’ll film something specifically for the show during next week’s shows or just throw up some stock stuff (god knows they have enough of it at this point).

The new Ultraviolet visuals look worse than the previous one. At least before it actually took advantage of the fulls creek effect with the upward moving pulse.
FWIW, word from U2 songs points to Atomic City.
