Masterful.

Only 3 guys in the Astros lineup have hits, compared to 6 on the Nats. And that’s with the DH. The opposite of clutch.

I think it was the right call, saves him maybe another 15 pitches which might enable him to come in for 1 or 2 key batters tonight if needed.
Probably won't be needed cause the Nats should tag Greinke. They had him on the ropes several times in game 3 and he wriggled out of it, won't be as lucky tonight (and frankly I don't think he'll handle the pressure). As long as Scherzer's neck spasms are in check, Washington wins this.

Great job by the Nationals. I thought they could win it from game one. Lots of exciting talent there. Really fun to watch.


And now the Astros lose Cole, both catchers, half their bullpen, Miley, and some other guys get super expensive ($156m already committed to next year before arbitration for guys like Springer). Screw the Astros. But like that fired exec, I’m so glad they got Osuna.
