The cops told us the band left the venue right after the show. We speculated Edge went to the hospital for xrays - that was a nasty fall.

To be fair they always leave pretty much right after

I'm going to the Inglewood show on June 3. Section 121 second row. I have never been to The Forum. Will I be able to see the screen? Looking at the seating chart I think I will have a OK view.
Question for you folks who have been to the show... is the screen view worth paying extra. Also how are the seats behind the main stage seats. still some cheap ones in phoenix and LA.

So - IS there a screen behind the band as well? Cos I'm edge on to the big screen, first night. Will I have to look at the bloody BAND? :hyper:

Well hopefully we get When Love Comes To Town tonight. And maybe it'll sound half inspired. Who knows.

So what song did they come out to?

Baby I Love You by the Ramones was intro music and Beat on The Brat was what they came out to before launching into the "oh oh ohhhh" part of Miracle. Crowd really needs to sing along to make that work. Hopefully it gets more interactive as tour progresses and crowd realizes the cues.

I'm still amazed I was allowed to watch opening night on my computer thanks to a fan in the crowd that had his I-phone hooked up to this periscope thing. The idea that I can now watch any U2 show live on my computer anywhere in the world thanks to a single fan in the crowd, is just amazing!

I wonder if this will ever impact peoples desire to actually go to shows especially shows in large venues like Stadiums?

I think it'll be a neat convenience to some fans, but almost nothing will take away from being there in person. Live music is a bit different than, say, watching an NFL game or sporting event from the comfort of home (at least imo).

That is, until holograms and 3D virtual reality rooms are built to the point that it is practically like being there!

It was amazing. I felt guilty, but then I realized I bought tickets to 9 shows and felt fine.

And people will of course still go, because when you are there in person, it's much easier to complain about the set list to the people around you.

Great show.
