I'll see it tonight at that sneak preview party, but then will likely go and pick up the 2-disc version at Best Buy tomorrow ... and then figure out who to give it to after I get my fancy schmancy edition!

I'm so fired up to get my hands on this DVD/Blu-ray. I'm going to hit the local Costco and Best Buy to see if I can find it a day early.
 
I'm going to attempt to get either the DVD deluxe edition or the Blu Ray edition today.
 
Picked up the Blu Ray at my local bestbuy yesterday :)

Not all of it...

there's...
space, like in this video, but it's not zooming in to Earth, first it's zooming out inside a spaceship through a round window, we se a 3D Zooropa Baby in front of a see-trough screen, scanning space, there are sounds like searching for a radio station and we hear distorted Kingdom, ZooBaby follows the signal... and then it zooms in to Earth and to Rose Bowl
...it's around 2 minutes, I think.

Again, with the darkness, don't blame the director/the band/the cameramen. Blame the stage.
And I saw no noise when I saw the broadcast on a 30", but I haven't seen it in HD yet so maybe there is some.
In my opinion it all looks awesome.
 
BestBuy wouldn't sell it to me today. I'm going to try Costco this evening... if not, then I have to go back to BestBuy early to get one of their two copies.
 
They wouldnt sell it?? Other best buys are selling it, thats how i got it. you would think they would have the same policy at every store. I would have been pissed if i were you.

I wasn't about to push it when a) they would be breaking the law to sell it and b) I can just get it in a little over twelve hours anyway. It's really no big deal.
 
Yeah, just because some stores aren't following the release date doesn't mean you should expect all of them to break the rules.
 
I didnt know they were breaking the rules, when i saw it there i assumed they released it Tuesday instead of Thursday. Oh great now the FBI is gonna come after me haha:reject:
 
U2 360 Blu Ray Audio Problems

Has anybody with a Blu-Ray Player and surround sound have an issue with U2 360 Live at the Rose Bowl?

When I play the Blu-Ray on Dolby 5.1 or DTS-HD audio, the base does come through. The only setting I get the base track on is PCM-Stero.

Is anybody else seeing the same thing?

That's weird, I went to a Best Buy at lunch and they had all three versions out for sale.

Oh and the Best Buy I went to also only had 2 of the Blu Ray, 4 of the 2 DVD set and 4 of the single DVD. I even asked if that was all they had and they said that it was all that had been sent to them. Seemed kind of weird.

I got mine yesterday afternnon at Target, watched it and all the features all night, the BD live stuff seems like it's gonna be a lot of fun in the future :)

Have you played other music Blu Rays before on your system? So you know it's hooked up correctly?

Blu Rays aren't regionally locked are they?
 
I played the Police Blu-Ray fine, it seems like the problem is just with this one.
 
so i picked up the 2-disc dvd at best buy, but it cost me $23.99.

i assume thats because the 'sale price' doesn't take affect until the 'release date' of tomorrow.

anyone know if best buy would allow me to bring the receipt in tomorrow to get the difference back?
