say you want to buy 2 tickets for europe and 2 tickets for NA in the presale

if you buy 2 tickets for europe will your code then be considered used up or can you use the last 2 for NA shows?

i don't want my code to be invalidated right after i purchase my one european show

From what I understood you can buy EITHER for the shows in Europe -OR- the shows in the US...not both. Sad day, because I'd love both Dublin and NY, might have to try the NY general sale. Ugh!

yes it's right ...for milano 8th july, presale in differnt way:
horizon today at 10
breathe today at 15

^ That's right, I posted this in the Milan thread as well.

Boots members presale starts tomorrow, Thursday, at 10 a. m. All presale ends tomorrow at 3 p. m. General sale starts on Friday at midnight.

Hi all,

Advice required.

Probably going to grab tickets to go with mates (hopefully GA tickets), but would also like to take the wife along to a show as well.

Problem is though, without going into the reasons, can't go into the GA standing area with her and not really able to afford the high priced seats.

So if going for GA tickets in order to use the GA seats then which venue would be best?

Or which venue do people think would be best for the "cheap seats"?

SORRY - Should've said I mean UK gigs.

For a third Dublin show, would there be a presale?

For a third Dublin show, would there be a presale? Amsterdam 2 and Gothenburg 2 were only in general sale (directly added after first shows sold out. for Milan 2 there is a seperate general sale and a presale.
Last time at the vertigo tour there was a lot of commotion about the EURO presale and the Dublin general sale (people queueing overnight and not getting tix, while the presale had tix) and the third show was limited on sale for foreign countries.

If they add the 3rd show on the day of the general sale there won't be a presale. If they add the show days after the general sale there's a chance they will have a presale just like they've done today with Milan.

I thought long and hard about using my code for the Friday Dublin Show, but I have decided against it because there are several shows here in the states that I want to go to, so I will suck it and try during the general sale on Friday morning for tickets to Dublin.

Not at all. There's a clear gap in the schedule for a third concert in New York.
I spoke with a Live Nation rep today. he told me the following:
(1) As it stands, there are not going to be extra stadium shows in the US. He said that this MAY be the internal memo going around just to make sure they sell out the first dates. When I reminded him of the 4 day window per venue, he said he agreed but was told there wouldn't be additional shows.
(2) There are 10,000 GA tickets AT $45 each per show. Apparently there are two GA prices, at least for Boston, $45 and $55. He doesn't know any more than that.
(3) U2 is doing arena shows in the US after the stadiums.

Any ideas why there would be two GA prices???

No idea why two prices and he had no idea. Again, he was giving me info from an internal memo regarding U2 that came out recently and had no further info. He said there would be 10,000 $45 seats per venue for "recessionary" purposes. Maybe the promoter is cow-towing to the media. Maybe the memo has these tix confused with the supposed $30 uppers. I just thought I'd pass it along. He's a ticketing director for a specific region and defintely got the info from a reliable source. Whether the info is 100% accurate (i.e., peter may have told Paul who told Mary who printed the memo) is any one's call.

Not having multiple shows in US cities , this is making it hard to plan, but I assume they're waiting for sellouts to add extra shows.

:down::down::down::down::down::down:

That's sooooooo sad and depressing!!!!!!! I will be royally pissed/upset if I can't make it to a stadium show, all the more reason to get pre-sale....I guess all the whiner's and steiner's complaining about arenas on here got their way!!:sad::sad::sad:

I refuse to go see U2 in arena's anymore, if I have to travel to South America for a stadium concert - so be it!!!!!! Gives me an axcuse to travel anyway, just wish plane tix were cheaper!! Seeing U2 play live in an ARENA is like trying to contain electricity in a glass jar - it's painful and unnatural!!!! Go Stadiums!!

This sounds to me like they won't be adding extra shows in markets not already included in the itinerary. I know for a fact there will be extra shows in some cities the tour is visiting.

So that second Chicago date(13th) is going to happen?
