reading another thread gave me the idea for this. what u2 song do you wish you could hear live?

simple enough, and there's only one rule: it has to be a song u2 plays/played live. it wouldn't be fun if we all picked stuff like acrobat or heartland.

my pick? it used to be bad but i finally heard it on the 360 tour, even though i've still only heard it once. but now it'd be hmm...zoo station or i fall down.

Running to Stand Still. I've thought about this a million times before and that's definitely my answer.

Every time Miss Sarajevo started up on the shows I saw I closed my eyes and prayed it would be RTSS. And I never pray.

Bad was a close second and I still vividly remember how floored I (and Ali & Danny) were when they played it at the first Melbourne gig, paired with Mercy, which was still amazing in spite of what Laz would have you believe.

What a shame 99.9% of the crowd were more curious "may as well" people than even casual fans.

WUDM (full band, not just Bono and Edge doing it almost apologetically to close the show). Other than that...DYFL which was killed off waaaay too early, Mofo and Please. Just a shame they've now practically abandoned Pop like a used razor.

i've largely had all of my boxes ticked. one tree hill? check, at my first show. bad? check, at my second. unforgettable fire? your blue room? it's all there.

i've even almost completed album bingo since i got scarlet on 360. only album i'm missing is pop. so something, anything from that (plus i love that album!).

i wouldn't turn down more new year's day either.

I'd say A Sort of Homecoming is at the top of my list.

Would love to hear many again, even just once (Mofo, Please, Out of Control, Gloria - all of which I've only heard once), and some more frequently (Bad, New Year's Day), but the only one I haven't heard at all that would make me the most happy to hear is ASOH.

I'd really like to see how 2012 Bono would sing Exit. I know it could suck, Exit needs a strong and deep voice (which Bono has not anymore) but who knows.

And also ''The Wanderer''. I think they played it once during the 360tour, there was a proshot of it on youtube. I really liked it, even if Bono messed up with the words a bit.

I miss Zooropa, Lemon, Can't Help Falling in Love, Love is Blindness too.
