I've got to get out before
I misplace myself
In this closet of old skeletons - well,
Perhaps they're old skins that
I thought I'd shed for good.
I wear them
Even though they're not a fit -
Guess my mother still dresses me.
I want to be comfortable in the skin I'm in...
Somehow this box seems smaller than I remember.
Is it just me?
Can't spread my arms or wiggle my toes.
Time to find a new box,
With a walk-in closet,
And clothing I've sewn myself.

I thought I might include some kind of explanation for this one. It is a bit off, isn't it? Oh well, nevermind. Maybe later.

need money, love like
you've never been hurt,
and dance like no
one's watching.**

Thanks guys. It was just really late when I wrote it and posted it. One of those things where I knew what I wanted to write about but had NO idea that's how it would come out.
