I think that song choice has more to do with them being in New York for Fallon, and the song being about their early visit to New York , and the Roots being available with all the live horns, and stuff like that.

Angel Of Harlem and beautiful day were great. Song For Someone felt a little awkward but I'm not a fan of the song to begin with.

Yeah, Angel of Harlem, one of U2's best songs from one of U2's best records, was the highlight. Actually I thought all the performances were good.

Angel of Harlem with additional musicians = that wasn't so bad! Makes the case for multi instrumentalists for the live show IMO. Doesn't have to be The Roots.

Show was good. Bicycle skit was funny, but i thought the best part was the comment about the Russians from Larry and when Fallon made the calendar reference (SOI album cover).
SFS might be a turd on the album but that performance was decent enough. Would have preferred a different song but oh well, no big deal. BD is always pleasing.
The tour promo looked pretty neat. Too bad i wont get to see them on tour. Maybe next year *if* that happens.
