Take Today Vocal

On Take Today, the vocal version (soon to become North and South of the River) from the Salome out-takes, does Edge do the lead vocal?

Blimey...you've got me wondering now! Just went back and listened to it and sounds a lot like him in parts!

What's throwing me is the talking at the start of it. Sounds a bit like they're having a laugh and then saying something like, are you ready, and it definitely sounds like Edge's voice. Bono on the choruses though I think.
