I'm from the '83 bracket.

New Years Day and SBS from Red Rocks on MTV and the Under A Blood Red Sky album introduced me to U2 and made me a fan that year.

1997 for me. Grade 11, or late grade 10. It was actually Van Diemans Land that hooked me first, and the love affair has continued since then.

2004- the ipod adverts and that MTV Jammed programme (free show @ the brooklyn bridge) made me a huge fan of U2. I know MTV is complete crap nowadays, but that perfomance was awesome, and i loved SYCMIOYO and IWF.

Sometime in the last couple of years of high school (around 1992) after hearing Mysterious Ways one day. I bought Achtung Baby on cassette tape and have loved U2 ever since.

ehhh 2003 saw them play a short set at Croke Park and saw Rattle and Hum(decided to watch after it got a 1 star review in the paper) and loved both
2004: I listened to ATYCLB and was hooked
