I must say, it's interesting to get two such contradictory pieces of information from two trusted sources. Either nothing happening this year, and no spring tour, OR spring tour still on, album next month likely, nothing indicating otherwise.
On the one hand, the band getting cold feet and ditching this year would be nothing new. In fact it makes more sense for them to do that than to follow through on an album given it's only been two years since the last. A quick follow up would be the anomaly. So them scrapping 2016 seems most likely.
But then, knowing that The Best Thing has clearly got some momentum, with a remix by a known dj, along with the lack of work the band has been doing lately really indicates that they're finished and happy with what they've done. And as has been mentioned, booking Terry Lawless for several weeks in the build up to the iheartradio gig shows they have something special planned.
Jesus. It really looks like it could tip either way.
Have to say that to me, a one-off single like Ordinary Love/Invisible seems the most likely outcome. I get the vibe that they are happy with The Best Thing, but not content with the actual album. Ah well, i'd rather get a standalone single than fuck all, with a war-horse laden setlist in 2 weeks.
Seems the 2 choices right now (i'm being pessimistic) are whether we'll get 'Invisible part 2' in a couple of weeks, or nothing at all
