Rear stage 400s curtained off for show 2
Thanks.The imagery you mentioned - that's new.
I wouldSo you'd say Larry is on board?
Well, I had a blast at the DC show last night. Started out right with meeting up with Irvine511 and LuckyNumber7 before the show. I thought at first it lacked energy and parts seemed awkward but it kept getting better and then like at every U2 show I felt waves of emotion at unexpected moments. I had a douchebag seat so I could see the visuals, and tonight looking forward to GA.
Man, I hope Bono's not going to end up retiring to drive a tractor and bale hay on his new farm. :-(

If so, I hope he called Bill Berry to commisserate.

Down with acronyms!
Edit to add,: I think that there's a 60/40 chance the July 1 at MSG will be the last time I'll ever see them.
I'll also now add that if you don't like this album, you likely won't like this show.
I don't want this tour to be my final U2 experience. I'll be disappointed if it is, because while very good, this is not the transcendent U2 I'm used to.
I'm glad I got to see JT30. I'll take a somewhat distant JT30 show than a hyper-engaged EI show.
If the JT30 show turns out to be my last, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Of course, Rose Bowl #1 had a great setlist; if I saw it later in the tour I'd probably feel differently.
But I'd also say that at least one of the I&E shows I saw was definitely better than the JT30.
Why does that...thing from The Other Place keep following us in here, our safe space?
