Just got home from the Quadrophenia show. Pretty fucking awesome. Yeah, I'll be continuing to listen to that album non-stop for the next few weeks.

I'm just going to echo Cobbs' sentiments regarding Harvest Fest; Mondo Cane and Sigur Ros were the stellar highlights. Awesome day, made better by the lack of forecasted rain and plenty of unexpected sun. Plus, free sunscreen, Lipton iced tea and bananas for all!

I haven't resubscribed yet, but I do have those two tracks. Yes, they have the same sound quality as the U22 stuff. I'm especially pleased with Spanish Eyes as I was at that show. It was a great one-off surpise.

It seems weird to me when Letterman likes "modern" stuff, as I forget that when he first started he had all the noteworthy mid-80's post-punk/alternative acts on his show.
This isn't very far removed from a younger Elvis Costello, for example.
