Quote from Rush Limbaugh's appearance on CBS evening news...

They leave the room and go to the designated one. And I have never been to a school where there is a moment of silence. Well here in CA

“I am for socialism, disarmament, and ultimately for abolishing the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion. I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class… Communism is the goal.”

- Roger Baldwin
Founder of the ACLU

However, he later denounced communism in his book, A New Slavery, which condemned "the inhuman communist police state tyranny". In the 1940s, Baldwin led the campaign to purge the ACLU of Communist Party members.

But once again, don't let facts get in the way of your hate.

Too bad he failed because the ACLU is a full blown communist organization as is Not in our name and these other protest groups.

Surely we can do better than some of the cheap soundbites in these last two pages. If someone's position on an issue leaves you dumbstruck, try asking them some good constructive questions to give you and others a clearer sense of what in fact they do and don't support. If you're convinced there's nothing constructive to be had from them, then why perpetuate a pointless cycle by jabbing back. There are some worthwhile points to be pursued here, but they won't be uncovered by bickering and sniping.

My "hate" is the fact that I'm not a liberal.

That's not what I'm saying. But one can't ignore the fact that you don't use THE TRUTH. You purposely used a quote from his youth to defame a group you hate(you called them America-hating) without using the whole truth.

How is this not hate?

It has nothing to do about conservative or liberal. Don't play victim.

Once again, let's see some facts.

This is the same group who defended Jerry Falwell, groups of all religions who were acting within the constitution, and groups of both conservative and liberal leanings.

So please, if you're going to attack the right wing's whipping boy, let's see something to back it up...

I'm not so much about "playing the victim" as I am defending my character when it is attacked by a mean-spirited poster who wants to gratify his ego with character assassinations towards anyone he doesn't agree with.

"The whole truth" is the basis of why we are here in the first place. The whole truth cannot be told without partisanship.

You flaunt the word "hate" whenever leftism is defamed in any way, shape, or form. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so stale.

boy, talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

It's one thing to say that Bush's case on Iraq was misleading by citing specific examples as to why.

It's quite another to call him a fascist without justifying it.

Can you say yes or no that Not in our name is not run by a communist organization as is the ACLU?

In 1986, 5th grade teacher Kenneth Roberts was ordered, following an ACLU suit, to remove his Bible from his classroom. (In 2001, it sued the Anahein public school system for refusing to put pro-homosexual propaganda in the district's high school libraries.) In 1988, it barred a doctor from telling a Kansas man's former wife that her ex-husband had tested positive for AIDS. In the words of the director of the ACLU's Privacy and Technology Project, "The benefits of confidentiality outweigh the possibility that somebody may be injured." In 1997, the ACLU convinced the Supreme Court to protect the rights of pornographers on the Internet - including the right to show their images to children. In May 2000, Arizona Governor Jane Hull issued a proclamation celebrating the birth of Buddha. An ACLU spokesperson said, "Although we may think proclamations are inappropriate, they may not violate the Constitution." (But two years earlier, when Governor Hull issued a proclamation declaring a "Bible Week," the ACLU sued, claiming a violation of the so-called "separation of church and state.") http://www.dms489.com/ACLU.html

Not in Our Name (NION) is a United States organization founded on March 23, 2002, in order to resist the U.S. government's course in the wake of the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks, largely by members of the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP).

I have seen the ACLU play favorites. Especially with todays world. They feel that since the muslims are being persecuted by the evil christians that they should be aloud special privilages over anyone else. Such as having a seperate classroom to pray which is a violation of Church and state.
