To hear people spend 40 dollars/euros/etc. on a farking single with two songs is absolutely maddening. Trust me, I used to do this back in the day and I regret it. 99% of the stuff I never ever listen to, and probably never will either. Unless you are truly financially set up to pay that much for a bloody single in TWO THOUSAND AND THIRTEEN then please reconsider.
My point is nullified though if all proceeds go to charity. Is that the case? Then that totally makes sense.
If not, you've just said something very interesting. If only all that money was given to the charity of your choice, the world would be a much better place. I reckon U2 are filthy rich by now. All this reminds me to that south Park episode in which the guys download illegal stuff from the Internet to realise how Britney Spears can't afford a more expensive private jet or how a rapper's son can't have a private island for Christmas.
