the defense is pretty good. if we had a functioning offensive line i think they'd actually be pretty good. but we don't (although it's gotten marginally better as the year has progressed).
they're still fighting, even with the awful start to the season. their schedule was more or less the opposite of the eagles and cowboys - where it was harder earlier and now it's getting easier. not that they're as good as either of those teams (they aren't) but the poor record is partly a product of the rough schedule to start the season. if it were flipped, they'd probably be closer to .500 right now and fans would think they had a better shot at the playoffs (only to be disappointed when they had a bad end to the season because the schedule got hard)
it's not a gimmie by any stretch for you guys, even though you're playing better.
you'll probably win but i don't expect the giants to just roll over. unlike with judge - they do seem to genuinely like brian daboll and play hard for him.
