Green Day currently is ahead of U2 in Virgin Records online poll for Best Band. OK, it's not the grammies, but it only takes a few seconds to vote and get U2 into first place where they belong!

People probably vote for their "favorite" band, not the "best" band.

Say U2 wasn't on there and my second favorite, David Gray, was. I'd then vote for Green Day b/c Gray would be my favorite from that list, but he's not the "best".
