SuperYo, can you get the lyrics for Magnificent?
Although I do see MOS still has a few 'knees' and 'soul' references
Super Yo is either very sneaky or very stupid, either way - keep them coming!
Am I the only one that loves "ATM machine" in a U2 track?
I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight
I think there may be a line on my horizon
it's not an automatic teller machine machine.
I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight
Spoken word intro:
When I see your soul
I lose control
You're a satellite
I'm gonna go crazy tonight
Verse 1:
Walking down the beach
You're just out of my reach
I've been at the hot dog stand all day
My...soul pushes you away
Prechorus:
It's not a hill, it's a mountain
As you start out the climb
It's just a few hundred feet
Until you are mine
Verse 2:
Every generation has a chance to save the world
My world was saved by you, girl
You have Spanish eyes, baby
Oh wey hey hey, lady
Chorus:
She's gonna go crazy tonight
She's 18 and her dress is tight
On the sunny beach of San Tropez
I always want to hear her say
That my sunglasses still make me look cool
Even though it's been 30 years since I last went to school
Bridge:
When the night falls on this dishonest city
We go down to the club, where the lights are so pretty
And when you get the Bailey's
I know I want you daily
And with the speed of a dart
You throw me a look that blows this whole fucking place apart
Chorus:
She's gonna go crazy tonight
She's 18 and her dress is tight
On the sunny beach of San Tropez
I always want to hear her say
That my sunglasses still make me look cool
Even though it's been 30 years since I last went to school
Outro:
Oh, woah, woah, woah
You're so out of control
The unforgiving sun is rising
I think there may be a line on my horizon

^ Those lyrics are made up.
I think Super Yo's lyrics are legit, at least for the album version.
Super Yo's lyrics are fake too. Many of the lyrical snippets from the reviews we've seen so far were not included in his posts.
Mine are just more obviously fake.

it's safe to assume superyo's lyrics are legit. hot press released their review today, quoting lines from nloth and mos. lines unmentioned before yesterday.
Not sure if anyone has posted about this or noticed yet, but the recent Hot Press review praises the lyric "Time is irrelevant, it's not linear/Then she put her tongue in my ear"
during NLOTH.
I fail to hear this line in NLOTH2. Is it possible some of the lyrics are different?

I don't know Super Yo and don't know where he got them, but I have been fortunate enough to hear the album a number of times now, and the lyrics he's posting are genuine. And if his situation is like most everyone else's who's heard the album already, he can't say where they're from because the label is really tight-fisted about anything—even seemingly harmless bits like lyrics—getting out early. Pretty typical corporate policy and all that.
"Stand Up" has a few of what I think are Bono's most cringe-worthy lines (see also: "Peace on Earth," "Love and Peace or Else"). "Unknown Caller" features a couple, too. They're nicely balanced out by some beauties all over the rest of the album, though.
It's a very good album, with a lot more to dig into (in my opinion) than the last two, although I do like them, as well. And a lot of the reviews that have been zooming around the Web have been quite accurate, except for the guy who said that "Moment of Surrender" feels like it goes on too long (it's not—think "So Cruel," lengthy but never boring) and that "Breathe" is weak (it takes a few listens, but man, it's glorious).
I still don't know how, after listening to the album once or twice, you can reconstruct all the lyrics. He has to have them written down, right?
