Joshua Tree US Certification??

I was searching the net and on Wikipedia i came across this:

It says JT has been certified 16xPlatinum! Has JT been re-certified recently or is this just a mistake?

RIAA still has the album at the old certfication of 10 million from September 1995.

Wikipedia is edited by people, if you can't find that anthwere else don't believe it...I you click on the discuss link towards the top and scroll down there is a reply written a while ago that says Joshua Tree should only be 10X platinum. That was written by yours truly

It could be a typo or someone was confusing some old worldwide numbers with U.S. numbers.

Since Wikipedia can be edited, I'd correct it if I were you - as you found the error.

You can't edit that part because I think it was written by Wikipedia

Well it may be a mistake, I doubt that the number hasn't changed since that 1995 certification.
