I voted for Bono...

On beliefnet.com they are having this 'most inspiring person of 2001" poll going on. There are a lot of nominees...like The President..and the Mayor and the Firefighters and Polic and EMT workers etc etc...I put in my two cents for Bono and his work for debt relief.

If you want to vote as well...You have to register on beliefnet...but its easy...and write a little post on the thread linked from the main page about why you think Bono is so great.

I don't think he will win (if he did they would probably give a donation to the debt relief campaign) what with all the other 'inspiring' people out there...but I think it would be great if he got an honorable mention at least

Of course Bono is the most inspiring person of 2001. Well maybe I'm biased because I'm 35% U2 corrupted, but really, the man has worked tirelessly to lobby for debt relief and gotten two sides of the government together on the issue.

I'll go take a peek at belief.com. Love to drum up some support for his efforts over there!

While we're on the subject, who do you think deserves this title, if not Bono?
