So, I come to you folks with an intense love for only 2 bands. U2 and radiohead. I have dabbled in a lot of other music now and again, but I never have been so musically connected to any other bands except for those 2.
However, what I have learned is that I get bored with music that doesnt challenge me (ex. most rock music). So I come to you looking for a very abstract avant-garde band that is very experimental but has its basis in rock. I love ambient music and soundscapes. music that makes me feel and see images. (hence my love for radiohead and U2).
Does anyone have a suggestion for a band like this. One that is very experimental, challenging, and creates beautiful soundscapes??
any help would be greatly appreciated, as since we all have a common dominator (U2), you guys would probably be more helpful for my music taste than the average joe.
thanks!
