A Maaaaaaan
The Fly
Hello!
I am a 22 year old man from Cologne/Germany. I read your posts
since a half year and I think that this forum is one of the best.
So this is my first post!
I am a U2 fan since 9 years. Believe it or not, but my first U2
album was "Zooropa".It`s still the album that I love the most.
I read once, that this album could have been the soundtrack for
the last dance on the deck of the Titanic.I think that the author
describes the atmosphere of the album quite well.
I saw U2 two times live.First in the year 1997 in Hannover. Many
critics did not love the Popmart tour, but the concert in Hannover was pretty cool. I think that one problem of the tour was the fact, that everyone was searching the "big concept".
The Zoo TV tour was such an intellectual thing, but in 1997 our
boys just tried to have fun.Only a few people understand that.
I also saw one gig of the Elevation tour in Cologne. They played there two times and the 36000 tickets were sold out in 45 minutes.
I just loved the concert and will never forget it.While watching the
"U2 live from Boston" video I often just close my eyes and just think about the concert in cologne.I could not realy describe you the way I fell while doing that.
It is a mood between: and
You know what I mean!
So after sawing this great concert, I am quite optimistic that our
four lads will be around for the next 10-15 years.
I think that there will enough themes in the future we can talk
about.
So hello everyone!
