Awwwwww!I've loved your little calico ever since you started posting their pictures. Guess I just have "a thing" for calicos since we got Callie three years ago. Here she is recently, with her adopted brother Fergus (whom we took in as a stray), coexisting on my bed.

VP thats quite a collection you got there.![]()
Meezer's condition seems to have gotten worse. He's still sneezing and now his eyes are watery. I am going to take him to the vet tomorrow. Poor little sneezing guy. i hope Will and Roscoe don't catch it too.
You all are making me want a cat. I don't usually go for 'em, but there's a cute grey-and-white kitten that sits on my car hood at night. I've been feeding it too. I want to keep it, but I don't how or if I should take a stray and make him a domesticated pet.

So Meez doesn't have a cold after all. He has an infection in his mouth. The infection is causing the sneezing and watery eyes. He got a shot and has antibiotics. He will probably need dental work when he is better. He's been under my couch since we got home. The vet said he should be feeling better soon.

Fergus (the big gold boy in the picture above) was a neighborhood stray we started feeding when he began to hang around the back yard of a house we bought. After asking all the neighbors if they knew whether he had a home, and they all said he didn't, we decided he'd be ours. We brought him in the house, put him in a spare room (with food, a litter box, and a bed) to keep him separated from Callie, until we could take him to the vet for an exam, test for feline leukemia (negative, thank goodness!), shots, and flea treatments. He's been indoors ever since. He only seems mildly interested in going outside, but we don't let him!
If a cat is at all wild, it's much easier to domesticate if it's young, so this would be a great time to catch him/her and give it a home. Plus you'd be giving it a much better life than it will have out on it's own (it's a tough world out there, especially for little animals). All my cats have been strays and they've been wonderful pets. Besides it sounds as if this kitten has already picked you, so take the hint and bring it in!
And then take some pics and post them here! We love cute kitties.![]()
There was heavy rain last night, and we brought him in the house. I don't have a bed or anything like that. I put him on a bunch of blankets and let him chill in the den. Hubby made a vet appt for Friday. I bookmarked a couple of pet care sites to get some general info on ownership.
I've never had a kitten before...all of my pets have been fish, frogs. I'm a 31 year woman, and this is my first pet cat. I am soooo uncool.

My mom says he's hanging around because I keep feeding him. She told me cats are like people....if you feed them too much they never go away.
