I guess this doesn't pertain to cutters, but the only problem I had with GA happened when some jackass in Calgary who was too drunk and stoned to stand in one spot kept swaying heavily into me about every 10 seconds. I normally met him with a firm shoulder pushing back against him, but this was too subtle and I was getting really pissed off since Bad had just started (it was my first U2 concert, and that was the song that I REALLY wanted to hear). So the next time he launched into me, I gave him a firm elbow in return. Of course, this was just totally out of line and he and his buddy had to get up in my face like I'd just done some huge wrong, and after lots of pointless talk (try talking sense to a drunk and stoned guy), I got back to enjoying the rest of Bad, which was half over by now - GRRRRrrrrr!!!!!!
Of course, about a minute after we'd settled our little dispute, high-as-a-kite over here has to tap me on the shoulder and say "Hey man, everything's cool man, everything's cool...let's just forget about it." Um, yeah. I'd forgotten about it the first time. Leave me alone now, pal. So we shake hands, get back to our business. A minute later - "Hey man, it's cool, it's cool..."
Now, I'm not a violent guy by any means whatsoever - but at this point, socking this guy in the face sounded like a really good idea that was getting better by the second. Thankfully though, my friend who I was with saw what was going on and took me by the waist and moved me over to her left side, putting herself between us.
Was a good thing too - I'd hate to remember my first U2 concert with me getting thrown out for fighting.
