U2trinity I had my date with Dr. Robert TODAY!!! 12:45 pm and just loved the movie!!! I was so busy watching the hot moob, I forgot to check the jeans....Guess I will have to go see the doctor again!!!

got back a while ago , my daughter went with me . She is not a U2 fan but we kinda have the same taste in movies and she was doing her daughterly duties . The theater was almost full which suprised my daughter , there was a guy sitting behind us who was a big Bono fan . Loved the movie but not nearly enough Dr.Robert to satisfy my fix .

I've seen it 4 times now, and it was a completely full theatre every time. In fact the 1st time, we got sold out and had to take a later show which also we only barely made it into.

...loved loved LOVED the movie...excellent.

I thought Dr. Roberts was, well, just Bono with an American accent...while it was fun to see him on the screen - he was kind of stiff and IMO couldn't get beyond being the performer Bono, with a few old Macphisto moves and eyebrow-raises.

Saw the movie last night and was plesently surprised. i mean, I wasn't really sure what to expect... musicals are not really my thing. But this movie certainly exceded my expectations - I thought it was brilliantly done, it was artistic, different, and very enjoyable.... People in the audience aplauded when the movie ended. I guess that says something.

Ok you guys--I went to see ATU for my Birthday Saturday-my husband took me. There was a preview for some other film & Mr. D says there's Bono too. (it was Robin Williams with sideburns & wearing a black cowboy hat). Geez. He was almost wearing a bag of popcorn on his head.

Well, aside from the fact that the two of them are looking more alike every year, Robin Williams has said that he was channeling Bono for inspiration while filming this movie "August Rush" Hard to tell from the preview but he may have the moves but definitely not the voice.

I saw that trailer too when I saw ATU. My friend says, "He stole Bono's look!" Then a few days later we were watching "Running with Scissors" and we both said, "Joe Fiennes stole Bono's look!" (Though that movie is older than ATU.) But now it's turned into a game of "Spot the Pornstache."
