Rules are rules. One elimination per unless there is a tie.

Eliminating the bottom three would badly skew the results. Take this round, for example. Ask Me Why is way ahead with 9 votes, and I Saw Her Standing There is in third place with 2 votes. Those nine votes that AMW got will be distributed elsewhere next round, perhaps pushing ISHST out of third place and prolonging its survival in the competition.

Every vote for the eliminated song in one round will go elsewhere in the next round and have a major effect on what gets eliminated in the next round. Eliminating three songs at once is eliminating some songs without giving them a fair shot.
