I tracked down a copy of Edge’s Picks recently, having not been a fan club member that year. I’m floored - this is brilliant, and for some reason sounds much better than U22 (I like that collection, but it’s not a great mix).
360 was one of their least successful tours as a “concept,” and the film of it managed to miss almost everything good about it, but my goodness, it had some great moments, many of which are on this Edge’s Picks disc. HMTM in particular is just savage. I’d misremembered Sarajevo as being a shadow of its Vertigo self, but the version here is easily better than 2005. I wish they’d filmed a ‘10 and ‘11 show too.
