[insert domestic violence joke here]I know it's kind of silly - I mean, if we didn't care, we wouldn't be here, and we bitch out of love - hard as that is to believe.

Uh ..... I don't get the link. Not sure I want to.
4) I still find the "Crazy Tonight" remix one of the most gaudy and tasteless moments ever in U2's live career. I'd even prefer to see them playing "Stand Up Comedy" instead of "that"..

as much as i loathe stand up comedy, i agree with this. crazy is downright embarrassing, especially coming from 50 year old men, that have written some of the greatest rock songs ever.
I wish they would play Grace.
I sat by silently while there were blasphemous things being said about the Crazy Tonight remix, but I can sit idly by no more.
You want them to play Grace?????
Pistols at dawn, sir.

For the hits, buy a greatest hits (U2 has 3 to choose from), turn on the radio or buy a DVD (One, WOWY, BD and Streets and ISHFWILF are in all of them since these songs came out). We're spoiled as U2 fans that have seen the band multiple times. As such, we all want to hear something different. For myself, I would love to hear "Please", "Exit", "Acrobat", "God Part II", and "Drowning Man", but the likelihood of these songs being played are very low. And there's a very good reason.
For likely the majority of fans in the audience, this might be their 1st U2 show or their first show in several years or more. U2 is trying to ensure that people get to hear the "hits" and have a great first experience.
I do agree that they need to also find some balance with appealing to the fans that have seen them multiple times, but I can also understand why they continue to play the same setlist over and over again. It doesn't help that they're only playing 1 or 2 shows tops in each city (Dublin being the exception), which makes it difficult for them to have huge variations in their shows.

I think this tour has the most obvious of themes since ZooTV, I'm actually pretty suprised by how many don't get it.
It's all about space, time, location, travel and it's throughout the entire show.
You travel from Africa to Iran, earth to space to heaven.
What time is it? Even the bridges make wandering clock hands from a plan view.

Whats wrong with Grace.
They would need to order amphetamines for the audience instead of pizza. Just not practical.
I could begin to tell you, but I'd probably fall aslezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

i hate grace because on the rare occasion i listen to all that you can't leave behind it means i end up falling asleep before the ground beneath her feet.
