A small Bono/U2 reference...

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I just heard an interview of Noel Gallagher (Oasis) from a few weeks ago and he talks a little about Bono and U2. The entire interview is 25 minutes long but the mention of Bono/U2 is around the 19 minute mark and he talks about them for a minute or two. He has a lot of good things to say about them. He talks about how U2 is definitely the biggest band in the world and always will be as long as they continue to make music. Also says some good things about Bono's Africa crusade (says something like "bono is the only rockstar who actually puts his money where his mouth is"). Definitely worth checking out......Also if you're an Oasis fan, like me, the rest of the interview is really good....here's the link (i think its in realplayer)

Cool, but I'm not surprised. Bono and the Gallaghers are close friends. They talk about each other a lot.

Noel's dropped that whole best band of the world thing now, he believes U2 is the best band in the world in a couple of interviews.

Waits for the Radiohead brigade to come charging in.
