See the Book of Richard 5:39 (quoting the KJV): "Lo, and then it came to pass. And so the Lord sayeth, 'A-wop-bop-a-loo-lop a-lop bam boo.' And it was good." The translation is a bit rough, but I think you can see the similarity.

This is by no means my least-favorite lyric in that song.

I don't like the "kneel/steal," "door/moore" rhymes, and I'm pretty lost on "I give you everything you want, except the thing that you want."

What the hell does that mean?

Even if someone can explain it, it just sounds weak to me. This song, and this album, have too many lyrical shortcuts and unrefined efforts to my ear.
