U2 SET TO TOWER OVER CITY

U2 ARE to build a new recording tower in Dublin's Docklands that will put them on top of the world.
Bono will today unveil plans for the spectacular new development on the riverside. The star has helped to design the landmark tower which will include a ?3million recording studio.
A source close to the star revealed: "This is Bono's idea and he has been a major force behind raising the funds for it.
"U2 are going to have the most spectacular recording studio in the world.
"It will overlook the whole city and they could be recording new albums there within a year."
Bono will make the news official at a press conference this morning but the plans have already been swung into action. Building will start within two months and Bono is expected to have a major role in its design.
The source said: "He wanted to be involved in something that symbolises the new, energetic Dublin. "People will see this modern tower from all over Dublin and it will become a U2 and Dublin landmark."
