Blue Blew U2 Out Of The Water
Brit boyband Blue surprised everyone this week by beating the Juggernaut U2 Best Of to the top of the English charts.
Outselling U2's hit infested Best Of 1990-2000 even surprised the boys in Blue who have sent a note of thanks to their fans. In fact, this is their second number 1 album this year.
The Blue album features some interactive technology that is being activated this week for a surprise contest. Fans who have the album can play it in their CD-ROM drive and be taken to a secret section of the Blue website. Blue are literally giving away the clothes off their back, the outfits they will be wearing on their upcoming tour.
They are in rehearsal now for the tour to commence on November 20 in Belfast and finishing in London's Wembly Arena on December 20.
They have also scored the prestigious job of turning on the Oxford Street Christmas Lights in London tonight at 6pm.
The next Blue single is a cover of Elton John's 'Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word' actually recorded with Sir Reggie. Sir Reg also performs in the video with Blue.
